Vahaduo is a free collection of browser-based Global25 tools — Admixture JS for admixture proportions and Euclidean distances, Custom PCA, Global 25 Views, a 3D PCA viewer and a G25 spreadsheet download — supported through Patreon. Choose Vahaduo if you already have a Global25 row and want a free, fast, widely-used workbench for admixture and PCA experiments — and consider Ancestrify's free Lab tools alongside it for the same jobs.
Choose Ancestrify's paid reports when you want a formal qpAdm model with published statistics, whole-genome VCF input, a calculator hand-built around your own coordinates, or matches against individual ancient people.

Is Ancestrify just a paid Vahaduo?
For the coordinate half, the methods overlap: Ancestrify's free Lab tools compute the same Euclidean distances and nMonte-style admixture fits in the browser, and no account is needed for them. What the paid Global25 report adds is a curated era-by-era atlas, the Personalized Calculator built around your row, videos and the Notable Matches lens. What Vahaduo does not offer at all is formal qpAdm modelling with a p-value, whole-genome VCF input, or matches against individual ancient people.
Can I use my Ancestrify results in Vahaduo, or the other way round?
Yes — both work on the same Eurogenes Global25 coordinate row. Ancestrify never computes coordinates itself, so the row you paste into Vahaduo is the row you paste at Ancestrify checkout.
Which is better for a quick experiment?
Both are free for that: Vahaduo's Admixture JS and Ancestrify's Lab admixture and distance tools run in the browser with nothing uploaded. Ancestrify's Lab additionally offers curated per-era and per-calculator pages with the tool preloaded, a G25 authenticity check, an averager and a PCA viewer.
Does either one tell me who my ancestors were?
Neither can. A coordinate distance or admixture percentage is a statement about position in a reference space, not descent from anyone who lived. Ancestrify's reports say so on every era, and never name a population or individual as anyone's ancestor.
