Choose Ancestrify if you want the official Global25 row rather than a derived one, a formal qpAdm model with published statistics that can reject a hypothesis, Ancient Matches with per-individual evidence, and a free in-browser Lab that needs no upload and no account for the coordinate tools.

Questions
Are DNA Genics' G25 coordinates the same as official Global25 coordinates?
Their site sells your personal G25 coordinates within its packs and describes its projection methods as producing G25-derived coordinates. Official Global25 coordinates are issued by one independent service, run by the author of the Eurogenes blog, and by that service alone. Ancestrify only ever analyses the official row — pasted by you, or obtained from that service on your behalf — because a row produced by any other pipeline occupies a different space, and distances and fits computed from it are not comparable with the published reference sheets. Which kind a given row is can be checked with Ancestrify's free authenticity tool.
Which one offers formal qpAdm?
Ancestrify: the paid qpAdm product runs qpadm() from ADMIXTOOLS 2 over your genotypes merged into AADR v66, hand-composed and hand-checked, with the p-value, per-source standard errors and z-scores and the full right set published. DNA Genics' methods summary lists admixture, similarity, IBS, PCA/UMAP, haplogroup and local-ancestry methods; qpAdm and f-statistics are not named on the pages we read.
Both advertise ancient individual matches — what differs?
The evidence published per match. Ancestrify's Ancient Matches shows, for every matched individual, the shared stretches painted on your chromosomes with total centimorgans, segment counts and marker density, and never shows a population total without the number of individuals behind it. DNA Genics advertises ancient individual DNA matches against its 9,000+ sample database; the per-match evidence published is not detailed on the pages we read.
Which is cheaper?
They are priced differently rather than one being cheaper. DNA Genics sells packages (their Starter and Explorer packs at the prices shown on their site) covering many reports at once, with lifetime access. Ancestrify sells four separate analyses, each one-time, so you pay only for the method you want — and the coordinate-based exploration layer is free in the Lab without any pack.
